Its been forever!

I just realized how long its been since I've posted a message. Not that much has happened. But I'm still alive:)

I'm coming to the end of my spring break :(...which means only 7 weeks left of school for the semester...YAY!! And then only one more semester until I graduate...YAY!

It was fun....I cried a lot during the wedding, I'm such a sap. I'm very happy for them, even if Chip did steal my rommate!:)

Hey....SO...I joined weight watchers a couple weeks ago.  "Why?" you ask. Well, I've gained about 20 pounds since I started nursing school two years ago and I'm not liking that.  So yeah...I finally kicked my butt into action. Its payed off. I've already lost ten pounds! :) I didn't want to say anything before because I wanted to make sure I liked the program and would be able to stay on it. I found that I'm very happy with it though. Anybody looking to lose weight...its a great, healthy way.  They have an online program which is great, because I don't have time or money to go to meetings. 

Anybody else happy the semester is almost over? Anyone else as stressed as I am??

Hey! Oh man, what a week! And I'm still in the middle of it! :) I finished up with pediatrics and am now back on the good old medical surgical floor. Its been fun...stressful....but fun.  This semester has been very different in that my clinical instructor expects a LOT more out of us in terms of knowledge and skills.  And more independence. I've been struggling with this because I tend to be unsure of myself at times.  I don't want to kill anyone, you know? But its very possible considering how sick my patients are (I'm on a cardiac floor) and the medications I'm giving.  I know the stuff, but sometimes I don't know that I know the stuff, ya know? Kinda scary.  But I gotta learn independence at some point. I'm not going to be a student forever. I must say though...this is the first semester in which everything is REALLY starting to come together for me. 

So Ryan's phone is officially broken. :( I haven't talked to him since Sunday. I won't talk to him until Friday after work, when he gets home.  Its been pretty hard.  I didn't realize how much I tell him.  I don't know...I just really miss him.  We've been emailing and talking on G-chat, but its not the same.  I haven't been taking it well either. But, thank God, he's patient and calm, while I'm not so much.  And he tells me what I need to hear, in a very patient manner. I'm thankful for that. :)

Gotta study for a few hours...working the next two days. I'm tired just thinking about it. Have a blessed week! :)
